The Crepe House in Russian Hill

The Crepe House in Russian Hill on the cnr of Clay and Washington fits perfectly as a great place to take a date.

 

You want to go to The Crepe House when its quieter on the weekends: around 2 to 3pm. The goal is to grab a table right at the back in the corner. If you notice, there is a bench at the back which allows you to sit next to your date and allows you to talk at a comfortable volume.

The staff is friendly, there is nothing on the menu greater than $10, there is cool moroccon/middle eastern music playing and they have a simple collection of beers. Some favorite dishes:

Caution: do not go at a time when this place is super busy as the rest of the tables are cramped together and it can be a little loud.

First Date — Where to go?!!

So you’ve managed to get a date with that hot girl you’ve been checking out at your local starbucks. V niiiice!   

But where on Earth do you take her? Don’t listen to the bullshit about finding something “unique” or doing dance lessons. Seriously, you’re busy, she’s busy, do something simple - its more important to make her feel comfortable than it is to try to “impress” her. 

All you need is these two very important things:

• 1) A place where you and your hot date can talk to each other at a comfortable volume.
• 2) A place where you can sit next to each other, shoulder to shoulder. This is KEY.

That’s right! You can go to your local coffee shop or your favorite local pub: just make sure that you can be side by side — no sitting across — and that you can comfortable talk to each other.

Here’s why: when you sit next to each other its more friendly, it’s easier for both of you to lean back and relax, and initiate touching. You can play games like “thumb war”, read their palms, rest your head on their shoulder or tickle her…Just imagine doing any of these things while sitting across from each other at a noisy Italian restraunt a foot from three other couples with waiters coming by every two minutes.
